What we charge and what we do not, in full. You should not have to call anyone to find out what childcare costs. If a number here is not clear, text us and we will explain it.

Three Peas in a Pod, a childcare agency in Denver, publishes every fee it charges. In 2026 a babysitting membership starts at $30 a month, a one-time sitter is a $32 booking fee, and a nanny placement is a $500 intake fee plus 7 to 8% of the nanny's annual pay. Those are the agency's fees only: families pay their sitter or nanny's hourly rate directly.

The babysitting membership

What you pay your caregiver

What a sitter or nanny usually earns in Denver. Not our price.

Every fee above is ours, for the matching and the coordination. You pay your sitter or nanny directly, at a rate you agree.

Babysitters and nannies

$25 to $35 an hour

For evenings, weekends and everyday babysitting, and for part-time and full-time placements.

We never take a cut of a caregiver's hourly pay, and a caregiver is never charged to work with us.

Two ways to see the total

Our fee and the sitter's hours, added up. A member's total includes the membership.

A 4-hour evening

First booking

$132 to $172

A $32 one-time booking fee, plus the sitter's hours at $25 to $35 an hour: about $100 to $140 for the sitter.

With Pea Sprout

$130 to $170

The same sitter's hours and a month of Pea Sprout at $30, with no booking fee.

A month of evenings

No membership

$528 to $688 a month

About 4 evenings a month, each a $32 booking fee plus the sitter's hours.

Pea Sprout membership

$430 to $590 a month

Up to 4 care requests a month, 48 hours' notice. The $30 membership is in that total, with no booking fee on top.

Every example is 4 hours a sitting, booked at least two days ahead.

What we do not charge for

  • Asking. Telling us what you need costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
  • Background checks, reference checks and certification checks on our caregivers.
  • Briefing your sitter on your household, your children and their routine.
